Storm Nelson

It is with a heavy heart that we inform our baseball family/community that one of our Post Six players, Storm Nelson, passed away Monday evening, November 20th.

We have a few ways we can help the family.  Please, help as you can.

First, we have opened the SWAG store again.  It will be open for 8 days.  All proceeds from your purchase will go to the family.  Head over to www.bsnteamsports.com and enter code: STORM25

Also, there has been a GoFundMe page set up to help raise money to assist the family with the medical expenses.  The goal is $25,000 and we would love to see this surpassed.

Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time.

All teams are now on GameChanger!  Go to your teams page and follow the link.  Also, all teams scores will appear automatically on their team page once the game is over.  We have integrated GameChanger to each team, so seeing scores will be easier this year.  Go become a fan of your sons team and follow the action all season long!

Following Brandon Nimmo

Brandon had a fantastic 2018 season.  From opening day starter in CF to finishing a couple days early due to injury, Brandon had a first full season filled with several 1st's for him.  He led the Mets in doubles, triples and OPS; finished 2nd in walks, stolen bases and runs.  His 17 HR's and 114 hits were 3rd on the team all while leading qualifying hitters with a .263 batting average.  The season also saw him have his first multi-homer game, first 5 hit game and having a stretch of reaching base safely in 10 straight plate appearances.  Yes!  He even had his first walk off, which happened to be a pinch hit blast!

Besides the offense, he flashed his glove multiple times.  From game saving catches to robbing extra base hits.  Heck, he even saved a fans glove!  On top of all that, the New York media and fans grew to love that all too familiar smile we here in Cheyenne know and love.  Not a bad first full season.

We look forward to watching him build on his 2018 success in 2019. #lgm
