Isaac “Big Country” Taylor - Isaac made a lasting impact with the Sixers with his strength at the plate, leadership behind it, and consistency as a teammate. A four-time letter award winner and three-time All-State selection, Taylor anchored his teams as a catcher, outfielder, and designated hitter. During his Sixers career, Taylor helped lead his teams to three state championships, finishing in the top four at regionals twice. He went on to play two seasons at Western Nebraska Community College, earning All-Conference honors as a catcher, before completing his collegiate career at McPherson College. Across his Post 6 career, Taylor posted impressive numbers, including a .379 lifetime batting average with 210 RBIs, 81 doubles, 78 hit- by-pitches, and a career on-base percentage of .493. Taylor’s 81 doubles rank third in program history, while defensively, he ranks second all-time in innings caught (633.2), runners caught stealing (35), and runners picked off base (9). After his playing career, Taylor turned his passion for the game into coaching, spending two years with Post 6 as a JV assistant and Sixers hitting coach. Taylor and his family now live in Iowa, where he teaches high school physical education and strength training and coaches multiple sports.


Braxton Inniss - Braxton was best known for his prowess at the plate and speed on the basepaths. A four-year starter for the Sixers, Inniss helped lead the Sixers to four straight state championships while collecting three All-State selections, the Wyoming State Tournament MVP award in 2016, and recognition as a State Player of the Year finalist in 2018. Innis ranks fifth all- time in Sixers’ history in hits (339), fourth in triples (32), third in runs scored (326) and fourth in walks (181). Inniss’s senior campaign was one to remember. Over 80 games played, Inniss hit .414, and totaled 111 hits, 19 doubles, 18 triples, 55 walks, 110 runs scored, 61 RBIs and 30 stolen bases. He also served as the team’s closer, striking out 66 batters in just 48 innings. After Post Six, Braxton continued his baseball career with the University of Northern Colorado where he hit .325 as an outfielder in 2019, and later with the University of Mary. Innis now lives in Cheyenne, where he owns and runs a baseball/softball training facility named “The Factory.”


2023 Sixers American Legion World Series Team - After sweeping through the State tournament undefeated, the 2023 Sixers were the first-ever Wyoming American Legion baseball team to win the Northwest Regional Tournament and qualify for the American Legion World Series (ALWS). At the ALWS, the Sixers went 2-1 in pool play to qualify for the semifinals, where they lost to Lincoln East (Nebraska) 2-1. The record- setting Sixers finished the 2023 season with an overall record of 67-17. The 2023 Sixers sent nearly a dozen players to play at the collegiate level, including catcher Kaden Anderson, who was named the MVP of the Northwest Regional Tournament, and pitcher Colter McAnnelly, who received the ALWS Bob Feller Award for strikeouts.
